    Hi Tom,

Thank you for replying with the status of the issue. Sorry for the delayed response.

I suggest you to click on Yes since it is associated with Intel.

As I had metioned it earlier in my post that the igfxem.exe files most often belongs to product Intel(R) Common User Interface. and were most often developed by company Intel Corporation. This files most often have description igfxEM Module. Aggregate rating is 5(5) stars - based on 9 reviews. This is executable file. You can find it running in Task Manager as the process igfxem.exe.

    Hope this information helps

Please reply for further assistance, we will be happy to assist.

    Hi Rizwan,

I had to make a new user profile anyway to test something else, but made a Local User account. When I check the problem in this account, it is exactly the same. What will happen if I chose Yes instead of No?

Sorry for the lack of detail.

If I go to Component Services/Computers/My Computer/DCOM Config and click on it, I get the message:.

The CLSID {820D63D5-8CFF-46DE-86AF-4997DEDD6DB5}, item "C:\Windows\system32\igfxEM.exe" and title TheEventManager Class has the named value AppID, but is not recorded under \HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID. Do you wish to record it? Yes/No

Is the correct answer Yes or No?

(In passing, is there any easy way of copying complicated messages like this so as to include them in messages here?)
