Based on the issue description, I understand that you are not getting the audio jack plugged in notification on your computer after accidently never show this notification again.
I can imagine how inconvenient it could be, but I appreciate your efforts to resolve this issue.
To understand this issue better, I would like to have the following information:
- What is the make and model of the computer?
- What was the notification message that you use to get when plugged in the device in Audio jack was it "A jack has been unplugged" message?
- Have you made any recent changes to the computer prior to this issue?
If you have the issue with Realtek HD Audio Plugged and Unplugged notification follow the steps below:
1. Press Windows key + X key together on the keyboard.
- Select Control Panel (Change the view to small icon).
3. Hardware and Sound –> Realtek HD Audio Manager.
- Click on “i” icon on the right corner of Realtek HD Audio Manager.
- Active plugged and unplugged notification by placing a check mark on “display icon in notification area” option.
- Now click on “OK”.
If you want to enable front panel jack detection and auto popup dialog:
- Click on “Device Advanced Settings”.
2. Uncheck the box for the option Disable front panel jack detection and auto popup dialog.
