Adjust Video RAM size on Windows 7

Hello.

I just add a new RAM to my PC, now it has a total 4GB ram installed, but I found that windows shared too much RAM to Video card (1,25GB).

That made my PC just work as "well" as before while graphic quality stay same.

I tried to change BIOS setting but didn't found any line for that, even my BIOS is lastest ver.

I'm using out board card, Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32bit, GA-G31M-ES2C mainboard and Award BIOS F8 ver.

Pls help me if there is a way to change VRAM.

I suggest you to refer the steps below and check if it makes any difference:

Method 1

I suggest you to refer the below Microsoft help article to change the size of virtual memory:

Method 2: Change the RAM consumption to maximum.

I suggest you to refer the steps below to Change the RAM consumption to maximum:

  1. Press Windows key + R.
  2. Type “msconfig” and press Enter.
  3. Click on Boot tab, then click on advanced options.
  4. Check box Maximum memory, Click Apply and Ok.
  5. Restart the computer.

The usable memory may be less than the installed memory on Windows 7-based computers.

If issue still persists, I suggest you to try installing 64-bit Operating Systemand check.
