    Hello,

    • On Computer, Right click , select Properties.

-Now, click on Advanced system settings from the options on the left-hand side.

    • Make sure that the Advanced tab is selected. Then choose Settingsunder Performance.

    - From the Performance options, select the Advanced -tab. Then choose Change under Virtual memory.

    - Un-check the box next to Automatically manage paging file size for all devices.

    • Select the drive you want to use, and adjust the Custom size option. Hit Set, and then click OK to save your settings.

I am not sure quite how we can answer this as the process is the same as for Windows 7

System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Settings (Performance) > Advanced > Settings (Virtual Memory).

However personally I have never found any benefit from changing from System Managed since Windows 7

The parameters are quite complex and to be honest if you don't know how to work out the optimal values then you are best leaving it to Automatic mode. The performance benefits of manipulating these values are relatively slight and the Windows managed option will more than suffice for 99% of users.

There have been a number of "rules of thumb" about these settings, a common one being 1.5 times physical memory but as the more physical memory you have the less the need for a paging file at all this no longer works. A good concise description of the problem is here and read the linked article by Mark Russonovich if you want more detail, he is the absolute Guru on this subject.
