Hi
Hafizul,
Please provide us following information so that we can help you further with the issue:
- What is the model number of the laptop you are facing issues with?
- Are you facing this issue while using a specific app or is it with all applications?
- Are you facing this issue with Built in Webcam or is it an external Webcam?
I suggest you to follow the steps below and see if the issue persists:
Put the computer in clean boot
A clean boot allows the Windows operating system to launch without any additional programs or services running when you turn the computer on. This allows you to determine if computer
issues are caused by a program or service that starts up when you boot the machine.
Place the computer in clean boot and check if the issue persists. You may follow the article mentioned to perform a clean boot.
Perform a Clean Boot
Refer:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After performing the troubleshooting steps for clean boot refer the section**“how to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting”.**
Uninstall the USB Driver
As you mentioned that the device is listed as
usb2.0 hd uvc webcam, so the issue could have occurred if the drivers are either corrupt or faulty.
Follow the steps below to remove the driver and restart the system after performing these steps so that the default driver or the correct drivers are installed
automatically:
- Press Windows key + R
- Type Devmgmt.msc
- Right click on usb2.0 hd uvc webcam
- Click on Uninstall and OK
Let us know if the issue persists after restarting the system.
