missing drop down box for home networking connection

while I'm trying to make my laptop as a wifi hotspot 

from local area connection properties > sharing > then home networking connection

I don't have the drop down box , it's directly assigned to [wireless network connection] and I can't change it

please I need your help to figure out the reason behind this problem  *_*

I find the solution. you can first turn off the windows defender and then you can find the drop down list.

    This is a bit late, but it's for future reference.

    I was able to change the "home networking connection" by:

    1. Untick "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection"
    2. Click OK
    3. Reopen the same dialog box
    4. Tick "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection" again
    5. Choose from the drop-down menu under "home networking connection"

    if it still shows the same thing then reboot your system and try the above steps after starting the hostednetwork.

    Hi Guys, I know this is quiet long ago., but I found my Home Networking Connection selection showing after I have enabled my Ethernet Adapter. Before it was disabled since I was not using it at all and when I try to share my Wifi Adapter I could not find the Networking Connection selection in sharing tab. So what I did is just enable it and it works like a charm.

    But my windows defender is already turned off. Still i can't find the drop down list. Please help me. thank you
