    hi

if all the above ways failed..please format the OS and do fresh installation and try that..

Note: Formatting the old OS is just a try,may be it works..because if any installation problem persists it didn't work..i had tried fresh OS installation and worked well (8.1)

    hello! Tadasha..

I'm facing the same problem of connectivity with my windows 8.

I have been using micromax 353G dongle with my win7 earlier, but its not working after I have upgraded to win8.

I have tried all the compatibility settings, even tried to uninstalling the 'ports' & then did 'scan for hardware changes'. for an hour I could connect to internet.

    but its not working anymore.

please help me, I have been trying everything possible since last week to make my dongle work in win8.

I'm using win8 pro on Compaq pressario CQ61 model & the dongle is Micromax 353G.

    Hi PPSharma,

Thank you for choosing windows 8 and we are happy to assist you.

Could you answer few questions to help us understand the issue well:

    1.      What is the issue that you face?

    2.      Are you not able to use Micromax dongle MMX352G in Windows 8?

If you are unable to use the device in Windows 8, then try installing the device drivers in previous Operating System’s compatibility mode and check.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

    a.      Right click the driver installation file and select Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.

    b.      Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode box.

    c.       Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous Operating System, then tap or click OK.
