If the issue still persists, follow method 2
Method 2:
We need to run check disk and check if it helps.
**Check disk (chkdsk) runs when you start Windows 8,**please follow the steps in the link below.

Important: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when
chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost
