    Hi,

Please follow the steps to set the location of your default download folder.

    a)       Click on Start, then click on Computer

    b)       Click on C:\ drive, and then click on User’s folder.

    c)       Under user’s folder click on your user name, then click on Downloads, right click on downloads select Properties

    d)       Click on the Location Tab.

    e)       Under location tab Change the location to the require drive.

    f)        Click on Apply, finally click OK..

    Hope this information is helpful.

Followed this guide and has some problems. I moved the download files by just selecting the D drive. After that, i found that my file name PC (default username) under Users has lost. My "downloads" which initially found in C drive has become D drive. I tried to right click the D drive with a Download Icon on its left and press location tab to restore default but its said folder cant be moved there with a description: "" Failed to build a list of regular subdirectories under "D: System volume information" Access has denied.""

You responded to a five-year-old post, asking a question about a non-Microsoft product.  You should contact Google for help.
