Driver problem with Easy Cap video capture device

I have a EasyCap  USB 2.0 video adapter and have installed the software but the video driver does not load.  When I look at the device in device manager I can see that the audio drivers have installed but the video driver  has the following message "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)".  I have attempted to find updated drivers on the web with no success.  Anyone have any suggestions?

    Which version of  Ulead Video Studio are you using?

    Microsoft compatibility center does not have any information about the compatibility of Ulead Video Studio.

    I would suggest you to install Ulead Video Studio in compatibility and see if that helps.

    This worked for me too. I am on Win 8.1 x64. I just bought the USB 2.0 Video Capture model EZCAP17215013369.

    From the description, I understand that you are not able to install Easy Cap USB 2.0 video adapter on Windows 8.

    I would recommend you to follow the below given methods and check if it fixes the issue.

    Since, this device is not compatible with Windows 8, I would suggest you to run in Windows 7 compatibility mode and check if it helps.
