My Beats Wireless is not connecting to my Windows 7 Home Premium. I have tried to add device and waited for about 30 minutes, and there were no other devices found either. Also the beats are in pairing mode.

Any ideas why?

    Hi,

Thank you for Contacting Microsoft Community.

This issue might be caused due to Bluetooth driver issue.

    • What is the make\model of the computer?

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things like:

    1. Did you try connecting the wireless head phones to other computer?
    2. Do you get any error messages?
    3. Is this issue specific to Bluetooth beats headphones?
    4. What is the make and model of the computer?

Please follow the below methods and check if it helps:

**Method 1:**If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try using the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to fix the problem. It checks for common issues and makes sure that any new device or hardware attached to your computer was installed correctly.

Method 2: I would also suggest you to start the Bluetooth service and set it to Automatic:

        a.     Go to the Start screen.

        b.    Type “Services.msc” without quotes and press Enter.

        c.     Right click on Bluetooth support service and click on Properties.

        d.    Set the Startup type as Automatic and then click Start under Service status.

        e.    Click on OK.

Method 3: You might need to make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth devices, or set Windows to alert you when a new device tries to connect to your computer. To do this, you need to control how your computer pairs with (connects to) Bluetooth devices.

To control how your computer pairs with Bluetooth devices

    1. Open Control Panel by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel.
    2. In the Control Panel search box, type Bluetooth, and then click Change Bluetooth settings.
    3. In the Bluetooth Settings dialog box, click the Options tab and do any of the following:
    • To make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth devices, select the check box for Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.
    • (When a Bluetooth enabled computer is in discovery mode, it broadcasts a wireless signal       that allows it to be detected by other Bluetooth enabled computers or devices. This is sometimes  called pairing mode)
    • To allow Bluetooth devices to connect to your computer, select the check box for Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer.
    • To be notified when a Bluetooth device is trying to connect to your computer, select the check box for Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect.
