Hi,
In the last two weeks I have been having problems loading webpages using win7 64bit.
Have been using this for a couple of years trouble free, untill now.
Only doing simple browsing internet, but receiving error message each time, "webpage is not available reload "........nothing
So run the troubleshooter and received error saying, " your DNS server might be unavailable " detected.
I have run " cmd ", ipconfiq , says media disconnected
Also tried running ipconfiq/flushdns says, " not reconised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file?
Does this mean I have a connection issue? was thinking that my wifi connection must be good, because I use another device off the same modem/ router & alls fine.
Plus on checking wifi connection status in control panel, shows up all correct.
Run virus & maleware scans all good, using Kaspersky 3.0 Pure anti virus.
Can anyone help please?

Cheers KC,
yeah tried that earlier, it does seem to have made a difference, I have only had the error " webpage not available, reload " once.
But the cmd result says, "not reconised as an internal or external command, operable programe or batch file?
Tried the cmd prompt again, how do I paste the results on this reply?

DNS means domain name server. It is what translates say Microsoft.com to the IP address it is at. When you get DNS server is not available, it usually means some sort of connectivity issue.
When you are experiencing the problem please type the following from an elevated command prompt
ipconfig -flushdns
then ipconfig renew
Does it seem to fix the issue (even if it is temporary)
If not type tracert microsoft.com and paste the results in your next post.
