Blue Screen Event (without actual Blue Screen) and 3 concurrent Live Kernel Events

I'm running Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 with Internet Explorer 10, with all updates current.

Today I was looking through the Event Viewer under Windows Logs/Applications, and saw several entries for Windows Error Reporting. I noticed that a Blue Screen Event had been recorded today, although I had seen no actual blue screen, nor had any freezing or any difficulties whatsoever. A minidump was created. At the exact time the Blue Screen was recorded, three Live Kernel Events were also recorded and three corresponding .dmp files created.

I thought this was unusual because this isn't the first time this has happened. I have had six Blue Screens in six months, without actually seeing a Blue Screen or having the system freeze up or lock up on me.

Are these Blue Screen/Live Kernel Events indicative of an impending hardware failure? This is a Dell OptiPlex 390 desktop, purchased in January of 2012.

Thank you for any insight you may be able to provide.

Thanks that works.  There are two issues both easily fixed.  First Kaspersky, and second Related to CHDRT32.sys High Definition Audio Function Driver from Conexant Systems

I would remove Kaspersky and use MSE in its place and Update the Conexant driver to the newest driver available even if it is the same date as drivers do become corrupt

Kaspersky is a frequent cause of BSOD's.

I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST.

Yes, I am aware that these reports are from 2012. Windows Error Reporting had these particular files listed under "Attached files" , so these are the ones I uploaded.

The last "Blue Screen" that occurred under System Information/Software Environment appeared in the Event Viewer on 1/21/2015 at 8:18:44 a.m.  It's listed under Custom Views/Administrative Events as "Bug Check" No Live Kernel Events are associated with this event. It created MEMORY.DMP. I have uploaded this file, along with the .dmp file created by the event, and the Event Viewer logs. Here is the link:

    Thank you for your help.

These are from 2012 and tell us nothing about what is going on today.

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:

    Click Start Menu

Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)

Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator

    Expand Custom Views

    Click Administrative Events

    Right click Administrative Events

Save all Events in Custom View As...

Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx

Go to where you saved Errors.evtx

Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder

Upload the .zip file to Onedrive or a file sharing service and put a link to it in your next post

**If you have updated to win 8.1 and you get the error message "**the system cannot find the file specified" it is a known problem.  The work around is to edit the registry.  If you are not comfortable doing this DONT.  If you are, backup the key before you do

    Press Win+"R" and input regedit

    Navigate to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels.Delete "Microsoft-Windows-DxpTaskRingtone/Analytic"

****We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here
