    Hi Chi,

I will be glad to help you with the issue you have with the computer. I understand the frustration when things don't work the way it should.

I suggest you to connectVGA monitor cable from PC to TV

    1. Select the PC input on the TV.
    2. Enable external display on the computer. It would be a good to consult your computers instruction manual or help file since this procedure varies from model to model. On most computers there is a F key that enables the external monitor. You will typically see an icon on one of the F keys that look like a monitor. Remember that you will also need to press the Function Key (FN) at the same time.
    3. Configure Windows Display properties.

    a. Right click on the desktop and Left Click on Personalize

    b. Left Click on Display Settings

    c. Left Click on the Advanced button.

    d. You should see a tab along the top row for your laptops specific video card.

    e. Left Click on it.

    f. You should see a large button that says Start the Control Panel.

    g. Left Click the large button.

    h. You should see a Window with Displays as one of the options.

    i. Left Click on Displays and then choose Change Display Configuration.

    j. Choose Clone or Mirror.

    Hope this information is helpful.

Can this be done wirelessly?  It appears that Windows 8 has a "Project" command under "Devices", but I cannot find anything analogous under Windows 7.
