It does not show an error code number , it only says "server not found , check for spelling errors , computers network connection and check to see if my network is protected by firewall or proxy and that Firefox is permitted to access the web . When I pinged the website both said "packets sent:4 , received:0 , lost 4"
server not found but internet is connected
For the past few days I have been receiving the "server not found" error when attempting to access the internet . But my network connections show that I can access the internet , I can search google and I can use YouTube . But when I try to search different websites or go on another page that is not YouTube , I receive the server not found message . I've scanned my computer , run troubleshooting , reset my router and my wireless adapter . Anyone having similar issues ? Please help I'm using an Asus essentio cm1730 series with Windows 7 64bit . Other devices in my home work fine and I've tried Connecting to different networks it does nothing.

2015-06-21T17:41:52+00:00 Might be a DNS issue. Go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Change Adapter Settings > Right - Click the adapter your using & go to properties > Uncheck IPv6, & Highlight IPv6, then click properties.
- Manually Configure DNS Settings of the Adapter

Different browsers do it different, so you might need to click a link or button to show error details to see. What I'm expecting is error code 404, or 501, or something of that nature.
Also you might try pinging the website by both name and IP address. For example, open Command Prompt and type both of these commands and make sure both show a "reply" when you hit enter.
ping microsoft.com
and
ping 134.170.188.221
The IP address is Microsoft's IP address, so you should get "reply" from both commands. If the first one fails but the IP one works, we know the problem is with your DNS server and we're closer to fixing it.
