You can also try to reinstall the Dymo Label Software by following these steps:
- Unplug all DYMO label writersfrom the computer
Remove any DYMO printer from the Control Panel / Devices and Printers list.
- Go to C:\Program Files\DYMO\DYMO Label Software\Support or
C:\Program Files(x86)\DYMO\DYMO Label Software\Support for 64bit systems
- Start the LWSupport.exe file
- Select the “Remove DYMO Printer Drivers” option and click “OK”
- Uninstall the DYMO Label Software.
- Remove the folder: "C: \ Program Files or Program Files (x86) \ DYMO".
- Remove the folder: "C: \ Documents and Settings \ <username> \ AppData \ Local \ Sanford, LP".
- Remove the folder: "C: \ Documents and Settings \ <username> \ AppData \ Local \ DYMO".
9. Install the latest version of the DYMO Label Software
http://download.dymo.com/dymo/Software/Win/DLS8Setup.8.5.1.exe
Please make sure that during installation the device is not connected to the computer.
The problem might be also caused by .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Our Software uses exactly this version and if it's not activated or installed the software cannot start.
