I recently purchased a Centrophorus Redragon gaming mouse, and when plugged in the LED lights turn on, but the mouse cannot move. Any solutions?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

As per description,Centrophorus Redragon Gaming mouse is not getting installed on your system.

You may face this issue only if while connecting the mouse the drivers were not installed properly.

I would suggest you to Uninstall and reinstall the mouse drivers from the device manager and check.

Uninstall and Reinstall the Mouse Drivers.

Follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall the driver:

    1. Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
    2. Click on “**Device Manager**” from that list.
    3. Search for the **“Mice and other pointing devices”** from the device list and expand it, right click on it and then select “**Uninstall**”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “**Delete the driver software for this device**” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it
    5. Plug the mouse and restart the computer.

On restart, it will install the legacy drivers. Check if that resolves the issue.

Hope this information is helpful. Please do let us know if you need further assistance with Windows.

Note: For me, my windows 10 upgrade was the issue. When I upgraded to Win 10, there was some sort of error in my registry that caused this error message any time I attempted to install a new driver:

"The Configuration Registry Database is Corrupt"

Resetting my PC to factory settings and updating then to 8.1 seems to make it stable and able to install new drivers.
