I have an Asus Vivotab RT. It has 8.1 on it.

Being that I have Windows 10 on my desktop for the past month. I don't really see the need for RT, when all the app Microsoft makes that I use are available on Android.

I was wondering if I can install android for windows rt 8.1.

he gave you the correct answer. its hard to be HELPFUL when you are asking for something that cannot be done.

the funny thing is that some time ago you've posted:

So I pick up an Vivotab RT 7 months ago. This thing blows the Nexus 7 away. It's way better then Android. And RT isn't a phone OS. I don't want a phone OS on my tablet.

Anyway, I haven't touches the Nexus 7 in about 7 months.

So what I want to do, is maybe put RT on it.

Is there a way that you can?

    "

interesting that you've gone full circle on this topic.

This person is a MS Support Engineer, even if it can be done, someone at Microsoft isn't going to say if it can, of course they say it can't.

I used to have a Nexus 7. Back then I didn't like it. And I have been using RT for the last 2 years.

I like RT. It's not that I don't like it. I see people complaining that you can't get this app or that app. Like this has a full web browser, who cares.

I have been using Windows 10 for the past month, I plan on getting it in a couple days.

But there's nothing wrong with wanting to try something different.
