Try out these methods and check if that helps:
Method 1: Run Hardware troubleshooter
Follow these steps to run hardware troubleshooter.
- Press Windows key + W and type troubleshooting.
- Select troubleshooting.
- Select view all on the top left corner.
- Run Hardware troubleshooter.
Method 2:
Follow these steps to change mouse settings.
- Press Windows key + X and select Control panel.
- Select Mouse and click on last tab (Device Settings).
- Click on + next to the second item (Scrolling).
- Click on "one finger scrolling"(don't click on the + next to it, just click on its name).
- Check whether "Enable vertical scrolling" is checked or not and check it if it is not checked.
