Windows Mobile Device Center Compatibility with Windows 10

Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10?  There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC.  I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1.  So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10.  Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this.  Thx everyone.

I just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 professional.  I am using the Windows Mobile Device Center with the latest update driver of 6.1ish.  I have tried to sync my device 4 times this morning and it keeps failing.  Is there an update or how to I get it to work?  My device is an Ipaq RX4240.  It is my life line to keeping track of all sorts of appointments and my electronic address/e-mail book which I sync to my desktop computer for Outlook 2013.  Please direct me to a solution.

Here is what I found out -- HP Support Center told me that Microsoft is not providing a patch for Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) at this present time there is no known workaround for connecting to the new Windows 10 operating system. iPAQ software will be unable to sync with WIndows 8, 8.1 or 10.   HP continues to state that other customers have been asking of late, and a request was sent to HP IT for updates but due to age of the iPAQ handheld line a resolution might not be forthcoming.

HOWEVER, I have been on the phone for two weeks with the Answer Desk and Tier II Microsoft Support and explained t the Tier II the issue lies with THEM and Microsoft NEEDS to create the patch since many of us use these devices, the function beautifully and somehow so FIX IT!  The Tier II person was supposed to e-mail me something so I could copy and paste HP's answer but I am still waiting for the e-mail.  Some excuse about Microsoft's e-mail servers being busy and they allegedly sent it 4 or 5 times.  Microsoft is forwarding this issue to their Tier III people so that a patch or update or fix can be created and pushed through via the updates that Microsoft sends us.  They told me it may take another 3 to 4 weeks.    So folks, chat with Answer Desk, have them escalate to Tier III.   Remember the squeaky wheel gets the oil!!!!

Yes I know sync center is still there.  However, when I want to sync my Ipaq RX4240 to my desktop that is running Windows 10 the sync fails.   So how do I make it work?  It worked beautifully in Windows 7 Professional.  I've searched and searched for a solution both on the Microsoft website and HP's and there is absolutely NOTHING!
