I got this resolved by going to Device Manager > Portable Devices > Uninstall. Then I just reconnected my phone and let it install again, and then it worked. Hope this helps!

downloaded drivers for LG phone from LG support. When I go to Device Manager,it will not install, When I try Scan for new hardware it shows the app however it does not load something about error 10. I would request you to visit the LG support website and install the latest driver from the below link for the phone you are using. Please select the mobile number which you are using and try installing the drivers for that -
