How Do I Factory Reset a Toshiba Encore 2?

I have said tablet and am selling it. I don't know how to reset it to the factory settings. The user guide keeps saying I need recovery media or a USB stick. I don't need to recover anything, I just want to reset it. I would like a simple, easily-understandable guide to doing this. It needs to be shipped within the next 3 days. Thanks in advance.

Use the cable from your mobile phone. Most of them have a micro USB connector on one end and a standard connector on the other.

    Hi,

Recovery Media is what is used to reset it.

"How to do a system recovery on your Encore tablet using the USB recovery drive"

    http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/items/faq/822

    1. USB Flash Drive containing system recovery data. This article assumes that you have previously created a USB Recovery Drive using the Advanced Recovery Tools in Windows Control Panel. If you have not created your USB Recovery Drive, launch the Recovery Media Creator by typing “Create a recovery drive’ at the Start Screen and follow the prompts.
