HP Officejet 6500A stopped printing

For some reason, my HP Officejet 6500A  all in one printer does not print anymore. The paper moves through the printer and comes out blank. It does not print anything from a file on the computer, incl. something as simple as a letter. It will not photocopy. It will not accept faxes. The paper just moves from the tray though the machine and out again, blank. When I tell it to do a test print - it will print out the lines and boxes, and in color, but just will not print anything else.

About a week ago I had trouble with my air conditioner and it got up to 90 degrees F in the house. The printer worked fine before that, now it doesn't. Did the heat to something to the printer?

I'm not sure how all this relates to MS Windows, but perhaps you could try HP Support regarding your printer problems, for example -
