Game not working on Windows 10

I installed a game yesterday and had to uninstall it because it would just not work. I tried everything. Frist, it would say I had to be an administrator for it to run, so I ran it as an administrator, but then it just wouldn't start. So, I ran the technical compatibility troubleshoot and tried every setting they recommended and it won't start or open at all. It doesn't even try to start. The run as administrator permission box opens and I click ok and then nothing happens. It still won't work. Any fixes for this? It worked before on windows 7 and then I upgraded to windows 10 and now nothing.

Thank you, Likhitha V.  I am testing games on Windows 10 for a large gaming community and am having the same problem.  The games install just fine, but will not launch, no matter where they are installed to or any of the compatibility modes.  It appears to be kind of hit or miss with some older games installing from the disk and playing and some games installing and refusing to launch.  All of these games that won't launch worked on both Windows 7 and on Windows 8.1.

I will subscribe to this post for any updates which would be greatly appreciated!

Ummm...  graphics card - Nvidia GTX 660TI - updated before I even started testing games.  Sort of a no-brainer.

The games are listed as compatible but will not run in administrator mode  and there is no compatibility tab on the properties page.  I have lost all my disk based games, some of which I play daily.

If you cannot fix this soon, can I revert to an earlier version of windows just by uninstalling windows 10? This version is more trouble and less user friendly than its worth, I'm sorry I got it already!

What is Microsoft doing to resolve this issue?
