Unable to update my Graphics Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 (64-bit) but since upgrading have been unable to update my Graphics Driver to enable my son to continue playing Minecraft etc on my PC. I know a new version of Minecraft has been released for W10 in beta, but this is a very basic version of the game and my son had built quite a bit on the original game.

I have tried to update manually via the Intel Download Centre, but the process is failing to find my existing processor.

My processor is an Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU E3300.

Any assistance on how to update the graphics drivers to allow my son to continue playing Minecraft would be gratefully appreciated.

When I first installed Windows 10 I wasn't able to install or uninstall the latest nivdia graphic drivers using 'Apps and features'.

What I did do was download the latest nivdia drivers and run the exe, it would extract the files and fail to install. In the end I used device manger, clicked on update driver software then browsed to where the nvidia drivers had been unpacked and installed them that way.

This should also allow you to uninstall them, so you can do a clean install of the drivers.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi GMReader,

Tried your suggestion of the driver download again this time deleting my existing driver first and it's worked fine this time round.

Thank you for you assistance, it's very much appreciated.

    Regards

    Hi GMReader,

Windows Update is telling me that I already have the correct drivers installed and updated, but still no joy.

The Intel Driver Update Utility software isn't even able to find the drivers on my system and therefore cant update them, although they are quite obviously there.

I have tried the download you stated above, and still cant get the games to work.

    Hi Darsk,

I've tried the above as per you reply but still no joy, it's not allowing me to install Nividia Graphic Drivers even through the Device Manager as I'm being told that Windows believe I already have the best  Drivers already installed. Should I delete those drivers first before trying to install the Nividia Drivers?

    Hello,

Try using this driver from Intel: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18402

You could also try using Windows Update to find the correct drivers.
