To listen to FM radio in Media Center, you'll need an FM tuner connected to or installed in your computer, and an antenna connected to the tuner to receive a signal. FM tuners are very similar to TV tuners—in fact, many TV tuner cards have an FM tuner built in.

In case you have TV tuner installed on the computer then you may check the steps provided below to resolve the issue.

It might be for one of the following reasons:

• Media Center is tuned to a frequency that is not available or has a weak signal.

• Your antenna isn't connected to the right input on your tuner, or the antenna signal is being blocked by something. Make sure that your antenna is connected to the input for FM radio (usually labeled "FM" on the device), and that it's positioned in such a way that it can receive over-the-air signals.

• Your tuner has not been set up in Media Center. To set up your tuner, do the following:

a) On the Windows Media Center start screen, scroll to Tasks, click Settings, click General, click Windows Media Center Setup, and then click Set up TV Signal.

b) Follow the steps on the screen to set up your tuner. The radio option should appear on the start screen after the tuner is set up.
