Bluetooth (Dell Latitude E5400) is not working on Windows 8 Enterprise
Original Title - Bluetooth is not working on Windows 8 Enterprise
Hi Team,
Bluetooth is not working on my laptop (Dell Latitude E5400) after installing Windows 8 Enterprise x64. Even I'm not able to install any bluetooth drivers. Please help me out on resolving this issue, as we have more than 20 machines that are required to be upgraded or installed with Windows 8 Enterprise.
Regards,
Amardeep Das

2012-11-27T23:25:33+00:00 I have Windows 8 Enterprise x32 installed on a Dell Latitude E4200. My Bluetooth also doesn't work now. I have performed the advised steps to no avail. Despite all efforts, it refuses to recognize that the device has Bluetooth capabilities. Please advise. Thanks.

2013-01-23T17:14:16+00:00 Sorry for not making my description more clear. What I mean to share is that the OS doesnt' recognize that my laptop even has Bluetooth capabilities to turn on or off. To PrahhuHaasen's solution, my Device Manager doesn't list Bluetooth as be on the list of devices to control, though it is listed on the list of services and have started them.

2013-01-23T16:35:13+00:00 Hey,
Even I had the same problem. But I resolved it in a simpler manner.
You need an active internet connection!
Press Windows+E (Opens Explorer), Click on the Computer and Click Manage.
Now Click on Device Manager. Right click on the Bluetooth device and select update device driver.
There you go!!!
