Original Title:Add Vizio TV As a Device "vizio-dtv-sink" ??

I have a my Windows 8.1 desktop and when I click add device it searches my network for available devices.  I have a Vizio M701d-A3R TV and that shows up as "VIZIO-DTV-Sink" and is listed as a TV.  When I click add it the asks me for the WPS PIN for the TV.  I cannot for the life of me find anything on the TV, Online or anywhere that talks about this.  I have also sent a request into Vizio support to see what this does.

My desire would be to be able to stream media (Pics/Videos, Etc.) from my desktop to my TV over the network.

I found the four digit pin code on my new Vizio finally.  It shows up at the very top of the TV screen when you use the link set up.  I found this bit of info buried in the help section.

    Connect via WIFI

If connection issues occur using Bluetooth then using ad-hoc WIFI is another option. The Vizio Device will show up in the WIFI list. Upon selection of the WIFI connection a PIN CODEwill be requested and the VIZIO SmartCast Home Theater Display will show the code on screen.

I think you just have to use the media player on the TV. You have to use the remote "V" button and scroll to the "multimedia" icon/button on the TV screen. Then search the media content you want to play on your TV. Unfortunately I was not able to use "Play To:" from my computer. Media has to be searched for from the TV instead of sent to the TV from the computer.

VIZIO TV's do not have a PIN number that is required to display your PC data on the TV WIRELESS. Direct connection is the only way.

I just now hooked up a Firestick and I'm able to connect and mirror my computer screen on the TV.  Works very well.
