What is Windows 8.1 Single Language Edition?

So i upgraded my laptop from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 Single Language. I was wondering, what does Single Language mean? And Why is it Windows 8.1 Single Language? Will i still activate Windows 8.1 using a product key? Thanks for your help guys

    Hi Kyle,

    Thank you for posting your query to us.

    The Single language pack means your Windows is only capable of running with one base language and you will not be able to add any new language packs to the computer. Example if you purchase the Windows 8.1 single language pack in English, it will perform all the functions of Windows but will not be able to add any other language than English.

    This pack does not affect the functionality of Windows and you may perform activation or use any other Windows functions.

    Does it work/compatible with the new windows 10? and if it doesn't, how can I get the new windows 10?
