Is there a way in which Empire Earth can work on Windows 10?

Empire Earth (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empire\_Earth) doesn't work on Windows 10, neither on Windows 8 or 8.1. The latest version where Empire Earth could be run on was Windows 7. Is there a way out to ever play this game?

    Even with the problem solver program and (manual) compatibily mode, the game freezes after some proceedings. The game starts perfectly, the game menu as well, but when I am in the game itself, everything freezes. I can't even close the game with 'task management' (ctrl+alt+delete) and have to completely sign out. I would contact the game developers, but they unfortunately (Sierra/Stainless Steel Studio's) don't support the game anymore. 

    I've also checked the game at the Windows Compatibility Center, but Empire Earth as well as Empire Earth Gold  are assigned as 'compatible with Windows 10'. Quite strange...

    Can you help me further? I would suggest you to install the game by yourself an test it. There is a free download on the following link. http://empire-earth.nl.softonic.com/

    Sorry to know that you are facing issues with installing Empire Earth Application on Windows 10.

    I would like to inform you that some of the versions of Empire Earth gaming application is compatible with Windows 10. Please refer to the Microsoft Windows 10 Compatibility Center and check if it helps.

    If you are not able to run the program. Then try to install the game application in Program Compatibility Mode and check if it helps.

    1. Tap on Windows Key and click on Search bar.
    2. Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and click on Troubleshooting.
    3. Then click on View All on the left panel of the screen.
    4. Click on Program Compatibility Troubleshooter.
    5. Click on Nextand follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter.
