Printer isn't showing up when I try to print

My printer isn't showing up on my list of printers on my pop up print screen when I try to print.  When I go to my Device and Printers section the printer is listed.    However, under the General Section of the pop up screen for that particular printer it says "unavailable"  But under the Hardware section of the pop up screen it says it is "Working Properly" and under the Web Services section it says it is "Currently Connected."  Help!!!

    Hi,

Which application are you using to print?

    Step 1:

When you click on the option print within the application, click on add a printer and check.

    Step 2:

Check if the device is listed under devices and printer. If not, add a printer and check.

    Reference:

Install, view, and manage your devices and printers

Rather than replying to a 5-year-old thread that relies on an outdated link (which probably never helped anyway), please ask your own question, describing your system and your particular issue.

Don't forget to include at least:

    • The edition of Windows you have, including whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit
    • The make and model of your printer
    • How your printer is connected to your computer
    • The complete text of any error messages.
