Hi,

I have a game installed in which there was a file with .qvm file extension, i was trying to edit file with notepad or wordpad but accidentally it set the file association to wordpad or notepad or any other program we want it to open, it associates with that program. I want to reset its file association to No Program (None of the program to open or associated as it was before, its default state). I have tried system restore but it did not help change .qvm file extension to its default state. So, Please if anyone have solution to this help me.

I searched on the internet about file extension wrong association fix but no help for this .qvm file format there were other format solutions using Registry.

In its registry path

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\qvm_auto_file\shell\open\command

Its Value is showing as:

"%ProgramFiles%\Windows NT\Accessories*WORDPAD.EXE*" "%1"

My device is HP 15 Notebook PC. Windows 8.1 Single Language 64-bit.

Please help if anyone know the solution then share.
