i searched the microsoft community 

i searched the microsoft hardware device downloads

i googled this

where is this  driver

i am running windows 7 but will be upgrading to windows 10 shortly

    Before we proceed, I would like to answer the questions stated below:

    1. Is the desktop receiver currently connected to your system?
    2. Are you able to connect to other devices through the desktop receiver?

    I would recommend that you open "Device Manager" located in Control Paneland check if you can find the device there. To open device manager, follow the steps below:

    Steps:

    1. Open Run Command, (Windows button + R).
    2. In the dialog box type, "dvgmgmt.msc"
