Samsung laptop won't connect to wifi (Windows 7)

Hi, my Samsung laptop suddenly won't connect to wifi, the home connection is available but Windows is unable to connect.  IPad, iPhone and Nexus all fine, partner's Galaxy also won't connect.  Seems strange that it's the Samsung devices that are affected.  I've looked at other posts and can't see anything that completely matches my problem.  I've tried the usual router reboot and system restore (to a few days) but to no avail.  Can anybody help please?  Thanks
