Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection with Windows 10

I am able to download Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection both discs with no problem I try to load it by clicking on the icon on the desktop and it tries to load like it shows the icon on the taskbar and the mouse disappears like it is going to play and then it just shuts off I am trying to get it to work on my new windows 10 laptop and I have tried everything that I could find

    This answer is completely helpless Joy Kemprai are you a real person ?

    Issue is compatibility , and the compatibility mode does not seem to work  - what is the solution ?

    Watch this video. It says its for windows 8 but worked with windows 10 for me. Hope this helps.

    • If you have not already bought the game buy it from a download site....

    The problem with Matt's game is that he was using the disk based version of the game.

    • This is not in a compatibility issue. The problem with many disk based games not running on Win10 has to

    do with a malware devised by MS - DRM Blocking. I have more details on this in my post at  --this thread--

    • Oops... I can't find it on GOG, Humble, Green Man or Steam so it looks like the only option may be a

    disk base version (or heaven forbid... maybe the Monopoly$oft Store ?) .

    If using a disk based version a noCD fix/hack would be the only way to run the game on Win10.

    Hello Harlie,

    Firstly, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to you.

    We understand that you have downloaded the Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection  but you are unable to install the Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection in the Windows 10. Well, we want to ask you if you have tried installing the same in compatibility mode, as tried by Annoyed910 in the above post?

    If you have not tried the compatibility mode, then the issue could be due to some compatibility issues, which might hinder the installation of the of the application/program, hence, please try to install the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps. Please follow the below steps to install the program in compatibility mode.

    1. Right click the driver set up and select the properties.
    2. In the compatibility tab, go to compatibility mode, tick the Run the program in compatibility mode for: select the windows operating system you want the driver to run in. (Windows 7,8,8.1 etc)
