How do I install gmail as my e-mail program - have windows 7/HP laptop - this is driving me crazy. Thanks

I keep getting the message there is no e-mail program installed.......I use g-mail and I can't find anywhere on computer where it explains how to do this.  I do not have Outlook.  thanks

Windows 7 does not have an e-mail cient included in the operating system.

You will need to choose one from the web, such as Windows Live mail, Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook etc etc.

 Windows Live Mail is an e-mail client ( email program ) introduced by Microsoft.

It is FREE.

Windows Live Mail is part of a package deal in Windows Live Essentials. When you install the Windows Live Essentials, it will offer you a list of programs to install. You can pick and choose. Don't have to take all of them.
