I have been trying for a week to get this to work, I have installed the MG2900 series onto my laptop and have set this as my default printer. When I pull up a document to print I get nothing and I get an error message. I am about to take this back and forget about printing at all but would like to see if anyone else had this problem. I am unsure how to install this exact computer as I don't get to choose it from a dropdown and so installed the series, is this correct?

Setting this up for wifi is nearly impossible. Unless you have a Masters in this stuff forgetaboutit. I've been trying for a week and done everything possible , still does not want to work. I think if your like me a good old reliable USB connection is BEST!!. So WIFI USB RULES
Agree. I am a network engineer and found this printer very difficult and time consuming to install using trial and error. After moving to a new home and needing to set it up on a different network, I gave up and threw the printer away. Do not buy this printer or its subsequent releases.
I have the same printer. I went thru what you are going thru. I got an USB printer cord and now I can print anything, without the cord I can not. However, I can print from apple phone with no cord. So get a printer USB cord and try that. Good luck to you. (The cord is inexpensive, low cost)
I set the printer up a long time ago and now it appears to be disconnected. How do I reconnect it without going through a complete uninstall and reinstall?
