Has anyone upgraded to Windows 10 and is using an old Belkin N52TE? I have it working on windows 8 using old Vista drivers and it's a must have device. Just want to make sure it will work before I switch.

Had the same question, and I too was waiting to update.

However, I updated another laptop to Windows 10 and I decided to try to install the n52te on it to answer the question.

I am happy to report that it seems to work. However, I haven't done extensive testing...

    However I can attest that:

    -The Vista driver installs properly

-The n52te is recognized and works as a keyboard (tried it in Notepad)

-The control panel runs and can update the onboard Synapse memory

    What doesn't work:

-The control panel does not recognize the current keymap (non default). The n52te behaves as it did on my other PC. You have to redo your keymap manually.

I am satisfied enough by this testing to update my gaming PC.

I've had similar issues to others using a Belkin n52te on Windows 10, drivers install and are the ones been used (check with Device Manager) but couldn't reconfigure / detect the device.

I found that i had to run "C:\Program Files (x86)\n52te\n52teHid.exe", then it all works for me.

This applies to most queries ive just read on here.

are you using the correct software & Drivers?

the nostromo and n52te are 2 totally different devices.   each with their own software  they are not interchangeable.   They may look identical but the nostromo is newer.

so if you have an n52te (it says Belkin on the palmrest) use:

Click here for n52te software & Drivers

If you have the Razer Nostromo (Razer logo on palm reset) use

    Nostromo synapse software

I can confirm the n53te details on 64bit windows 10.   the key mapper works,  profile changes.  the lot.  I should add however,  this is essentially a clean windows 10 install.   no previous software was installed.

My Belkin Nostromo (powered by Razer) N52TE is not working...

It briefly worked... but now will not allow me to update the synapse or anything. I am EXTREMELY unhappy.

Under events in the device manager properties it says "Device not migrated".
