    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

This issue may arise due to incompatible software. You may try to install the same in compatibility mode for Windows XP, since it was working fine in Windows XP and check if it helps.

    Install in compatibility mode

You may also try to install it compatibility mode. After copying the setup file from the disc, try the following steps.

    a. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties

    b. Select Compatibility Tab

    c. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.

    d. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality

**Make older programs run in this version of Windows**

    Hope this information was helpful.
