Your answer does NOT explain the update the person asked about!!! , MS has already hidden the "win 10 upgrade to" popup, (along with about 6gb of win 10 files) into my computer and everyone elses.. remember KB 3035503?  when MS installed the popup or PUP , (adware or unwanted program) in that update?? SO about KB3035583 , I know this is off topic but bare with me here ..I think the description of the patch by rugk on the eset Security Forum is accurate: It's "an adware/PUA/PUS/PUP for Windows 10 upgrade. .. so when I looked at the MS page explaining this new update KB3012429 (optional).. {Iam supicious now}...I seen alot of

"Upgrade to/ Du_help_what_info_sent_to_ms.rtf / and many  more "update to" dll/txt/exe" files.. (yes the update will have some files for the so called language currency update" but why the  multiple  "upgrade to /exe/dat" ect. files ? why so many?  and why does it also include windows, 8.0 and 8.1 files if the decription of it in my "Windows update".. say it is a security update for win 7 sp1 ?? ( it does not say in the descirption that it is also for other OS systems).  conclusion.. MS installed files/programs in my computer with the kB3035583 to upgrade to win 10 that I did not want and do not want...(unwanted program) which MS has a program to protect our computers from ..(that makes sense) and since there is already a "anytime upgrade" feature in control panel did you see the logic to include a popup and unwanted program into peoples computers!! . Your own MS moderator told me that if I have my automatic update set to Update and install automatically (recommended), then MS may include the "upgrade to win 10" files into the Update manager in the future..  so to turn off automatic update and install feature in my updates manager ( which MS says is not recommended) that also makes sense. a true unwanted program and in all sense a virus {Yep, that makes sense to.} . MS has lost all my respect, If I wasn't disabled and had the money to buy a new computer, I would buy a MAC and I hate mac.. I just want answers and you mods always give one without explaining exactly why.. just saying. .. you have my email address in your system so you can reach me.... NOW .you can delete this and ban me if you want which would prove my point. But now you know where I stand( and lots!! of others)... social media and many forums is a wonderful thing  ..the end

I am a Tech.  I have spent HOURS AND HOURS of my life ripping all these stupid Ad-Ware patches off computers.  I do not understand why Microsoft *thinks* that all computers can run Windows 10.  Truth is.. older computers run like absolute CRAP with windows 10 on them.  Business people have no patients for this sort of stuff.  They do not want their computer to randomly change.  And they do not want annoying pop-ups.  What the hell were you thinking Microsoft?  Well I know what you are thinking.. You want a controlled market like all the other people have so you can make MOW MONEY!  One day.. we will have a usable alternative and MS is going to start to fade away.. just like IBM did.  Mark my words...

MS Please pay me the thousands of dollars I have had to spend cleaning up all these patches and hacking computers so they would not upgrade to Win10 and trying to fix the computers that did upgrade to Win10 but could not handle it.  Also.. your really cruddy update system that always runs up the CPU..

And since I am on a rant...

Instead of releasing new operating systems all the time.. why not FINISH ONE!

Right click on the computer icon.. there is a Windows Vista interface.. Click on "Advanced System Settings" and there is a Windows XP interface.  The operating system is like Frankenstein.. with interfaces from every OS you have ever made and bits of new interfaces here and there...  And make your new interfaces as efficient as your old ones..  They are all missing important things and hard to navigate.

Okay I feel better now.. but honestly I have like 3 more pages of complaints.. (:

I have hidden 3 updates of W10  so far because I do not like or want Windows 10 .  I am a technical person taking care of 3 windows 7 computers.  I find for me that W7 is easier to repair and just as fast as W10.  I do not use social media , which W10 is all about. I do not waste my time playing games either.
