Disregard Andrew E. incorrect information: "Youre product key on the pc,will only work with dell vista OS,from dell"

Other Techs and myself have been using the Method I gave you since Vista was RTM with no problems at all.

    Cheers.

    Legitimately - you likely don't.

Your best bet is friends, family, nice IT people you might know...

    Otherwise - Linux Mint?  ;-)

    Darik's Boot & Nuke (among others) . . .

Unsure of what brought that information out though.  ;-)

My grandpa is really worried about people getting his information. So I wrote a code that filledthe entire disk with 1's. There I'd no recovering anything from it. I only did this because he told me he had the disk.

Youre product key on the pc,will only work with dell vista OS,from dell.Try them for replacment cd.

Also, how was the HD "wiped clean",try tapping the F12 key on pc start-up,dell gives you boot

options, maybe a hidden partition might exist on the HD.Also, maybe think of a newer OS,Win 7
