When i try to download latest software for my nokia asha 311,a dialogue shows "no software update provider found".please help me out.

I do not have a direct answer to your question. However, a Nokia 311 should be updated via the computer anyway, otherwise you do not get the latest E-mail client. Therefore, please, dial *#0010# and give us (just) the first two lines.
Only if your version is lower than V 07.36, you do not have latest version. In that case, did you try the Nokia Suite (or the Recovery Tool) via a Windows computer and a Micro-USB cable, already?
