CANON MP 287 SCANNER NOT WORKING BUT PRINTS

I'm using windows 10. Since the day, I have updated my O.S. , my scanner is not working but interesting thing is I can print and photocopy the items but only the scanner is not working. I am not getting any error message. the printer is just trying to scan but itself stops. Don't know what's the problem. Please Help !!

2.    What is the exact/complete error message you receive?
