No, it does not support Windows 8 even though it has an x86 CPU, it lacks certain hardware extensions to support Windows such as ACPI compliance.
Install Windows 8 on Android Tablet with Intel CPU?
Greetings,
I have Asus Android 4.4 Tablet with Intel x86 (x64?) CPU, is it possible to install Windows on this tablet? I would prefer dual-booting with Android.
Thank you for answers.

2015-11-23T21:42:49+00:00 Yes you can, any system running an x86 cpu can run windows.
If you have a keyboard in the form of one that fits for it or one that's usb, this will help you, you just need to get the system to boot from an image, you can do this by booting off a usb stick but if you only have one usb port and you need it for the keyboard things can get tricky.
The hardest it's been for me to get windows to run on a tablet that came with android was to partition the hard drive big enough for windows setup, made the partition bootable, I then copied the files over onto the hard drive. I can't tell you how to di this as I don't know your hardware, if your tablet has an SD card as a hard drive you can take it out and do this on a laptop.
In short, yes it is possible, make sure you get the bit right, as in 32bit or 64bit and that your hard drive is big enough
