Sim city 4 deluxe and Window 10

I have a problem with playing an old game on windows 10. The game is sim city 4 deluxe. I tried loading the game with no mods and no patches it will not run. I tried with the mods and patch, still will not run. I tried comparability mode for windows xp sp3, windows vista, and windows 7sp1, it still will not even start. The funny thing is its designed for windows xp and when I had windows 7 it played fine, even at my desktop resolution which is 1920x 1080. I recently update my video card driver and tried to load it again, still not working. I had a similar issue with sim city societies but after the driver update it works now, but with only the first 2 of 5 patches for the game. The other 3 patches have glitches. Has anyone got sim city 4 deluxe to run on Windows 10 64 bit?

    The problem is that Windows 10 wont read your game from the disc. All you have to do is to download a no-cd crack. Works just fine now. Now I don't need the CD to boot the game

    Volevo condividere il mio risultato , ho Sim city 4 installato su win 10 e non partiva , dopo numerosi tentativi sono andato qui

    ho preso il CD FIXED e lo ho copiato nella cartella di  installazione , ora funziona !!!!

    I took the CD FIXED and I copied the installation folder , now works !!!!

    I love my SimCity Series and for EA to no longer support and no one to take over, I'm a very disappointed at this time. Please someone make The Sim City Series work on Windows 10. There are probably lots of people who would love to play this game and cant.

    With anyone who sees this. Windows 10 can run this game. Right click the execute game icon. Compatibility will be a option. Click it. Then make sure you change it to windows XP Service pack 2patch. With everything but Disable display scaling, and run as administrator. The rest left unchecked. Proven Simple win!!
