Hello Morris,
Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft community.
I know how this concerns you and I’ll help you out with this.
A quick question before we proceed.
What is the make and model of your computer?
gameuxinstallhelper.dll it is dynamic link library that is a part of Microsoft Driver component. It is used by many modern applications (games, programs, utilities etc.).
Usually gameuxinstallhelper.dll located at Windows\System32 if you are running Windows 32 bit. If you are running Windows 64 bit copy of this file also located at Windows\SysWOW64.
If gameuxinstallhelper.dll is missing in one or both directories, program or game that uses this file cannot find it and cannot receive required data, so you get error like that:
Step 1: Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game and check. Most of the .dll errors are fixed by reinstalling the program.
Step 2: I would suggest you to run System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) and check if it helps. The System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) scans for missing or corrupted system files and repairs them.
- Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
- In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
- Restart the computer.
