U can easily scroll down the page in Toshiba Satelite laptops, this option is better than the previous model laptops. Just use your 2 fingers vertically at a time and simply drag up or down any where in the touchpad area.
Using touch pad on Toshiba Satellite Laptop
How can I scroll down a page on my Toshiba Satellite Laptop without having to click the up and down arrows on the side of the page?! It seems like every laptop made has that capabilaty but I'm not understanding how to do it on this model or if it's even possible...I dont want to have to use a mouse, is there any way to scroll up and down on a page by just using the touch pad? Its driving me crazy!

2011-05-23T04:26:46+00:00 Hi,
Usually that function is on the Right Edge (vertical) and Lower Edge (horizontal) of the TouchPad.
Settings for TouchPad are in Control Panel - Mouse (there might be several tabs with TouchPad
entries) and some have a utility that loads in Notification Area near clock on lower right.
Toshiba also has Card Keys which allow easy control of the TouchPad. See Toshiba Support
and Forums. The HotKey for the TouchPad if they are loaded in Fn+F9 OR see the Card Key
if loaded usually at the Top of the Screen.

Toshiba Downloads - Navigate to your model. <-- check for the latest touchpad drivershttp://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp?nav=Download
Toshiba Forums - good source of info from others who have the same/similar system

Check with Toshiba's support, on-line documentation, and/or forums as there probably
are Hotkeys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.
Hope this helps.

2015-12-19T22:01:21+00:00 Using two fingers is not the answer as my page keeps re sizing as I am using it. You would think Toshiba would put a scrolling facility on the right side instead of going through all this nonsense. I for one will never buy another, this thing drives me nuts.

Does it have a touchscreen? Also, using which app? E.g. in IE you can enable the Panning Hand cursor and scroll with it (avoiding some of the ambiguities of other kinds of touch gestures).
