Cap Lock + ESC
is there a way to get rid of the blue cursor box
I hate the blue cursor box that comes up while I am typing. Can it be disabled along with the large blue box that highlights when the mouse is used.

Close, exit, and get rid of the Narrator; the annoying blue box disappears and the sound level also increases.

2015-04-14T23:44:34+00:00 I have the same problem. I hate the blue rectangle that NEVER goes away.
Yes, I closed narrator. But it's back I guess.
I am simply startled that Microsoft is still struggling with this obviously terrible decision to put blue lines on the screen. I'm going to my garage right now to smash my thumb with a hammer so that I can feel better...

2015-12-01T19:32:35+00:00 I finally solved this. It isn't to do with Narrator but is in the ease of access setting. Go to Other Options and check your cursor thickness. Mine was up to highest (who knows how or why). Turn it all the way down and it is wonderful!
