Windows 8.1 Pro for Education

Just purchased a Acer tablet with Windows 8.1 Pro for Education installed.  That that program was pre-installed was not made clear in ad on product.  License agreement states must be student, faculty or staff of education facility, which I am not.  Can I use this computer for everyday use, e.g. e-mail, bills, renting vacation property for profit?  I'm thinking not!
