Unable to install game: League of Legends

Original Title: I can't run a certain program.

I'm trying to install a game for my son on my new laptop, and it simply won't run. The .exe will ask my for my permission to run, and once I accept it... nothing happens. I tried running it on compatibility settings and... no luck. Nothing happens.

Any ideas? If it's of any help, the game is League of Legends.

    Hello! Sorry to bother, but may I ask where you were able to find the download? My laptop won't allow it to download and run either! Thank you!

    Hello! I got it to work. Apparently I'm not the only one who's having issues with that, and in another question in this site I found an installer that worked for me.

    For the record, NOTHING pops up. It asks me for permission and then nothing happens. No errors, no messages, nothing.

    My graphic card's drivers are fully updated, so that's not it.

    My computer is an Asus Zenbook UX51V, the one that was reviewed here:

    1.    Do you get any error messages/code when you run the game?

    2.    What is the make and model of the computer?

    Please check if the computer fulfils all the minimum system requirements to run the game.

    Here’s what you can do:

    Method 1: Install the game in Clean Boot and check if the issue persists.

    Follow the steps below to place the computer in Clean Boot.


    Clean boot:To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. Here is the link for your reference to perform clean boot.

    Note: Please go through step 3 of the Kb to keep the computer in normal startup after fixing the issue.

    Method 2: Update the Graphics Card.

    Follow the steps below to update the Graphics Card.

    a.     Press Windows key + X and click on Device Manager.

    b.    Search for Display Adapters.

    c.     Right-click on the Graphics Card and click on Update Driver Software .
